Steve Young won his first Super Bowl with the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XXIV in 1990. He threw for a record six touchdown passes and was named the game's MVP.
Young's second Super Bowl win came in Super Bowl XXIX in 1995, also with the 49ers. He threw for a record six touchdown passes in that game as well, leading the team to a 49-26 victory over the San Diego Chargers. Young was named the game's MVP for the second time in his career.
These Super Bowl wins solidified Young's legacy as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
